Tribal Award Receipient

Troop 98 is pleased to announce that our Committee Chair Mr. Ron Calderone was named the 2010 Tribal Award Receipient from Troop 98 at the Chippewa District Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Thursday March 10th, 2011.

The Tribal Award is presented to one individual who demonstrates significant contributions in the growth and development of youth in their unit. Nominees are recognized at the Annual District Dinner where they receive their award.

Congratulations Ron and Thank You for the great work you do on behalf of our Scouts.

New 'Questions & Answers' section added to the Troop 98 web site

A new 'Questions & Answers' section has been added to the Troop 98 web site. Many popular and frequently asked questions are covered for new and existing scouts, along with those for existing and new scout parents.

If you have an unanswered question, or a question and answer that isn't already covered in this section, please use the 'contact Troop 98' menu option to let us know...

New site feature - Photo Galleries

You can now find our Photo Galleries as a new Members-Only menu option. At this point, we have photo galleries available for the two most recent campouts (Air Zoo and Polar Bear), but we expect to continue to add new photo gallery entries as we receive pictures.

If you have digital pictures from Troop activities that you'd like to contribute, please drop them off at a Troop meeting. If you can identify what event or activity the pictures are from, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

New 'search' feature added to the Troop 98 website

We have added a new 'search' feature to the Troop 98 website for logged in members. You can find the 'search' box at the top of the right-hand side of the website for logged-in Troop 98 members.

New 'Troop Scoop' section added to the website

A new 'Troop Scoop' section has been added to the Members-only portion of the Troop 98 website. This section features copies of the Troop Scoop, the (mostly weekly) newsletter of Troop 98, normally distributed at each weekly troop meeting. You can read the Troop Scoop issues online, or download a PDF file of the issue. The newest copy of the Troop Scoop is shown at the top, followed by the available older issues.
